ANZAC DAY

Anzac Day is
always a time when we reflect on the sadness of war. This year over twenty students and members of staff showed their respect by participating in the Avalon community Anzac parade and service. The Year 6 students also lead a special remembrance assembly, which is highlighted by reading poems and narratives reflecting their thoughts and feelings about war. Each year, one of our band members plays the last post to remind us of the sacrifices that were made throughout all wars. |
