YEARS 3 & 4 SPACESHIP EARTH

	Years 3 & 4 are completing an environmental unit of work called Spaceship Earth. The students compare the needs for survival on a spaceship to those of the planet Earth. The Earth is a spaceship travelling through space with billions of passengers and our needs need to be carefully managed for survival. Our excursion to West Head demonstrated natural cycles and biodiversity. The students packed an 'earth friendly' lunch to create a further awareness of the need to reduce, re-use and recycle.
