My Nanna

My Nanna has shiny, grey hair like a piece of polished metal.

My Nanna has shiny, blue eyes like the sea.

My Nanna feels warm like the sun.

My Nanna smells like a flower concoction whenever I am around her.

She makes me feel great.

I love my Nanna because she loves me.

Red is the scrunchy, Autumn leaves falling off the trees.

Orange is the juicy sweet oranges.

 Autumn in Australia is cool.

Up goes the wind.

The animals start to hibernate.

Umbrellas up when it’s rainy.

Mum gets hot dinner.

Nana knits scarfs.

 At Autumn the air is crisp.

Umbrellas up, it’s Autumn, it rains.

The wombats start to hibernate.

Unexpectant showers start to happen.

Me and my mum are in warm clothes.

Nights are getting colder.

Up come the leaves.

Yhe days are shorter.

Up come the umbrellas.

Munch, munch, munch go the leaves.

Nanna starts to knit.

MY JOB

At home I help my dad by watering the vegetables in the vegetable patch. Will and I don't use chlorinated water because it kills the plants. I also check the vegetables are okay and check is they are growing. Soon they will be fully grown. I hope they will be ready to eat.

At home I first get the mower out. My dad whipper snips and I mow. I put my gumboots on. Dad and I do the back lawn. It is very noisy. Both of us do the back lawn. Finally we finish.

At home I feed my rabbit and dog. First I get the food out of the laundry. Then I pour the food into the bowl. The dog has pig ears and hearts. The rabbit has oval shaped biscuits and vegetables. Then I pat my pets after their dinner. I wash my hands before my dinner.
